Outbreaks of showery rain over easter and southern England becoming more persistent as it tracks north during the morning. This afternoon sees showery outbreaks of rain through the Midlands and southern England as well as Wales. A few showers in eastern Scotland and northeast England. Drier and brighter in western Scotland and Ireland with some sunny spells here. Highs at 18C in eastern England, 14C in southern Wales, southwest England and Ireland.

Wednesday Night
Rain becomes heavier across central and southern England and Wales tonight as the northeast wind increases too. Generally dry in northern England and Scotland. Some patchy rain in central Ireland. Lows at 7 to 9C.

Thursday
A front affecting central and southern England as well as southern Ireland on Thursday bringing cloud and some outbreaks of rain. The rain could be heavy and thundery in the southwest. Drier in other areas with some bright spells, although windy in the east. This afternoon sees little change with more cloud and rain across central and southern Ireland, Wales, central and southern England. Drier further north and breezy, best sunshine in the west. Highs at 21C in western Scotland, 17C for much of England, 14C in the rain in the southwest.

Tuesday
Low pressure slips over Ireland on Tuesday. Rain in western Scotland, western Wales and southwest England. A further area of showery rain drifting through eastern England. Drier in-between these areas with some sunny spells. Bright in the rest of Scotland with sunny spells too, although some showers in the east. Highs at a mild 18C in the east, 11C in the west.
