Hot in the Mediterranean with thunderstorms in Spain and Portugal


Thursday
Some thundery rain developing across Spain and Portugal on Thursday. Hot and dry through the Balearics and Italy. Plenty of sunshine for Greece and Turkey, feeling hot as well.
France is going to be mostly dry and warm although some thunderstorms affecting the far north of France. Scattered thunderstorms in the western Low Countries, but dry to the east. Fair over most of Germany with good spells of sunshine, although some showers to the south. Scattered showers in southern Poland but dry overall with sunny spells. Thundery showers forming in Austria, Hungary and Switzerland.
Fine for Denmark with more sunshine to come here. Scattered showers in Finland with heavier showers to come across Finland. Sweden and Norway will have sunny spells with a few showers here and there.


Friday
Heavy thunderstorms affcting much of Portugal and Spain on Friday. Southern areas should be drier with sunny spells. Fair for the Balearics with warm weather and sunshine here. More sunshine to come in Greece and Turkey and feeling very warm here too.
Some cloud and thundery showers forming in central and southern France. fair to the north with sunny spells here. Cloud and rain passes through the Low Countries and Germany, reaching Poland later. Hungary should be dry but there will be thunderstorms in Switzerland and Hungary.
Denmark has a cloudy day with rain at times. The Baltic States and Finland will be dry with sunny spells. Scattered showers affecting Sweden with some sunny spells here. Rain affects southern and western Norway but the north should be dry with sunny spells.
