Rain in north but fine in the Mediterranean


Tuesday
An area of rain across Britain reaches Norway and Sweden in the late afternoon. Showers are forecast across northern France, Belgium, The Netherlands and Denmark. Pleasantly warm, dry and mostly sunny across Germany and western parts of Poland.
Rain is expected across eastern Poland, Lithuania, Belarus, the western Ukraine and northern Russia. For the Adriatic Region and the Balkans it should be mainly dry with sunny spells Fine, dry and very warm across Turkey.
Lots of warm sunshine is expected across Portugal, Spain into the Balearics, Sardinia, Italy, Austria and the Czech Republic.


Wednesday
Some thundery showers in eastern parts of Spain today. Elsewhere there will be good spells of sunshine and it should be dry too. Italy will have sunny sp[ells and dry weather although there will be showers in the far north. Greece will be dry too, again with more sunshine. Staying sunny in western Turkey although showers in the east.
Fair for France with sunshine here. Showers affecting the Low Countries with rain in Germany and Poland. Austria and Hungary will be cloudy and wet with rain through the day whilst heavy showers affect Switzerland.
Rain, heavy at times in Denmark and southwest Norway. Southern Sweden will be cloudy and wet with more rain here. Fair for the Baltic States with sunshine and staying fine in Finland and northern Norway.
