Cool for northern Europe

Today
Fine, dry and sunny across Spain and Portugal and quite warm. Fine across the Balearics into Corsica and Sardinia. Fine, dry and summery into Italy. Sunny and hot for Greece, Bulgaria, Turkey, Romania and The Ukraine. Here temperatures will be into the low 30s. A very showery day across France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, and Austria, these heavy at times. Those showers may merge into longer spells of rain across parts of France. An area of heavy rain is expected across The Baltic States into Poland, Belarus, The Check Republic and Hungary. Showers are likely across the Adriatic today. Much of Scandinavia looks coo and mainly dry except for showers across southern Sweden.



Monday
Temperatures will remain in the low 30s across Greece, Turkey, Romania into the Ukraine while highs will be in the low teens across northern Europe. Another very showery day to come across France, The Low Countries and Germany. Many of the showers will be heavy with a risk of thundery. Heavy showers are also expected around the Balearics, Corsica, into the far north of Italy into Austria and Croatia. Fine and warm across the rest of Italy, the Adriatic Region, The Balkans into Turkey, Romania and the Ukraine. After early rain in the north, it looks fine and dry across Poland. Heavy spells of rain to come across the Baltic States into northern Russia. Strong winds will affect north east Europe into Finland. Much of Scandinavia will be dry with the best of the sunshine across Norway and Denmark.
