Drier & brighter
Milder for all

A drier and brighter day, feeling milder

Good morning,

I'm hopeful of a better day across almost all parts of the country through today. There could be a few showers affecting eastern parts of East Anglia and te far southeast early this morning, but these will be fading away quickly. Elsewhere some morning mist and fog patches last for the next hour or so before lifting.

Most areas then dry with sunny spells and well broken cloud. Feeling less cool in the sunshine too and staying fair with more periods of sunshine into this afternoon. Cloud is likely to be thickening in western Scotland and western Ireland during this afternoon, some spots of rain arriving in the far west of Ireland later. The winds increasing here too.

Rain and cloud then affects western areas of the UK and Ireland through tonight, although eastern and southern areas should stay drier.
