Dry and warm south
Damp north-west

Fresher north

Good morning,

High pressure is centred south-west of Britain today. Weak fronts trail across northern England, southern Scotland and Ireland, bringing cloud and patchy rain.

Risk of local heavy showers in the north-east, whilst rain may persist for a few hours in north-west England and later north Wales.

Fair weather toward the south & east of Britain, with a good deal of sunshine. Also brighter toward northern Scotland with sunny spells and passing light showers. A westerly breeze for all.

Warm and still quite humid in the south-east, highs at 23 to 26C. Fresher elsewhere, 16 to 19C north & west, cooler north-west Scotland.

Have a great day.
