Morning Call - April 09, 2018
Dry At First Wet Later
Average Temperatures

Issued: 0530hrs Monday 9th April 2018
Duty forecaster: Matthew Hugo

Plenty of dry and sunny conditions at first across much of the British Isles, but it will become increasingly wet and windy across more southern and western areas later

Good morning,

It's a mainly dry start to Monday across most areas with some early morning mist and fog patches clearing. Much of the morning, for most areas, will then be dry with some bright or sunny spells and feeling pleasant in the April sunshine and relatively light winds.

A wet and windy period of weather is forecast to develop across much of England, Wales and Ireland on Monday evening and overnight into Tuesday with some heavy rain at times, along with a developing fresh or strong E or SE'ly wind as well. Scotland will, however, remain drier despite being mostly cloudy and increasingly windy as well.

Matthew
