Dry for most
Windy in west

Rain turning heavy for Ireland

Good morning,

A ridge of high pressure across south-eastern Britain brings a fair day to many places with good amounts of sunshine. Local showers in Scotland.

Low pressure over the Atlantic pushes fronts into Ireland, where rain arrives and turns heavy in the west, later extending to western Scotland and the rest of western Britain into tonight.

Southerly winds will strengthen, strongest around western coasts by evening, locally gale force around Ireland.

Today's top temperatures will be 15 to 17C in the south & east, nearer 11 to 13C north & west.

Have a great day.
Garry
