Morning Call - December 05, 2017
Fairly mild
Dry for most

Issued: 0530hrs Tuesday 5th December 2017
Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson

Wet far north-west; breezy north

Good morning,

High pressure lies to south of Britain today, promoting a fairly mild west to southwesterly airflow across the country.

Most places will be dry, although rather cloudy. The best of the sunshine will be toward the east. Some low-lying fog patches are possible in central-southern England in the morning. Winds generally light in the south.

A stronger breeze affects northern areas, and fronts to the north of Scotland will produce rain across the West Highlands. Spots of rain or drizzle are possible around western coasts and hills elsewhere across Britain & Ireland.

Today's top temperatures will reach 8 to 11C.

Have a great day.
Garry
