Morning rain in far east, then mostly dry, but heavy showers or rain to the west and breezier too
Good morning,
The remnants of a front across eastern England and northeast Scotland this morning. This will be producing some outbreaks of rain, most of it across northeast Scotland where it could be heavy at first. Most other areas are drier, brighter and fresher than recently.
Showers moving into Ireland and becoming increasingly windy here. The showers then merge into longer spells of rain through the afternoon and evening in ireland, some of them thundery.
The showers and rain affecting much of western Wales, western England and western Scotland during tonight, and windier in the west too.
