Morning Call - September 18, 2017
Mostly cloudy, showers
Dry and clear overnight

Issued: 0530hrs Monday 18 September 2017
Duty forecaster: John Ejdowski

With low pressure to the east dominating, the unsettled spell of weather we had over the weekend will continue today. We don't expect much in the way of sunshine today with lots of cloud and showers affecting Wales, central and southern parts of England and North Sea coasts. Many areas though will escape with a dry day. Quite a chilly start to the day with temperatures generally below normal for this time of year. Highs will range from 14 to 18 Celsius north to south.

Further showers will linger across Wales and central and southern parts of England. Over night these will have died away with skies mostly clear apart fro northern Scotland which looks overcast. Some mist and fog develops before morning. Expect minimum temperatures of 5 to 10 Celsius but lower in the countryside.

If you are heading abroad the best and the warmest of the weather will across southern Iberia, Greece and Turkey with temperatures into the low 30s.
