Morning Call - April 07, 2018
Rain For Some, Drier For Others
Relatively Mild

Issued: 0530hrs Saturday 7th April 2018
Duty forecaster: Matthew Hugo

A region of wet weather will move north and east across England for a time, clearing, drier elsewhere but scattered showers are possible

Good morning,

It's an unsettled start to Saturday across some central and southern areas of England, perhaps E Wales as well with light or moderate, locally heavy rain and this will continue to move northwards through the Midlands and up into parts of N England as the morning progresses, while a few showers affect SE England. Further north and west, across muhc of Scotland and Ireland it is drier and brighter, but with some scattered showers.

Into Saturday evening and overnight and any residual rain across N England and E England will clear and then many areas will be mainly dry with clear spells and variable cloud. Some showers will persist across Scotland and Ireland, while some mist and fog patches are possible too, especially in places where it has been wet through the day. Chilly in the countryside on Saturday night, but otherwise a mild night.

Matthew
