Morning Call - September 09, 2017
Showers increasingly widespread
Feeling cool

Windy in the west & south

Good morning,

Low pressure is broadly centred over the North Sea today, producing a showery north-westerly airflow across the British Isles. There will be some sunny spells, but most places will get a soaking at some point!

Showers will be most frequent in the north & west this morning, but will extend increasingly into central regions, breaking out widely across the Midlands into the afternoon. Heavy bursts with local hail and thunder are possible.

Some showers will continue for eastern Scotland, but western Scotland is likely to become drier. Northern Ireland is also likely to become largely dry.

Top temperatures will reach 15 to 18C, but will feel cooler in the wind - strongest around coasts in the west & south-west.

Have a great day.
Garry
