Morning Call - July 14, 2017
Sunny spells & dry
Rain in northwest

Issued: 0530hrs Friday 14th July 2017
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Cloudy and drizzly start in the north, brighter elsewhere and very warm in the south

Good morning,

There may be a few showers across East Anglia this morning as a front clears to the east. These won't last long and it soon becomes dry. Most other areas will have broken cloud and some bright spells with sunny periods developing too.

This afternoon sees further mostly dry conditions with sunny spells for almost all parts of the country. Feeling warm in the sunshine as a ridge of high pressure builds eastwards.

Thicker cloud and some rain may reach western parts of Ireland and western Scotland later this afternoon as a front arrives. Winds increase here as well as the rain arrives.
