Cold air draining south behind a band of cloud and rain

Good morning,

A cold front is passing south through Scotland, northern England and Ireland this morning. The front is weakening all the time but there will be a few moderate bursts of rain left on it this morning. Colder air has followed into Scotland and Ireland and this cold air reaches northern England and north Wales by midday.

The remnants of the front passing into the Midlands and southern Wales through this afternoon bringing a few spots of rain. The colder air slips through all areas and leads to a cold night with a widespread frost.

A few showers may affect northern and western Scotland where it will be breezy too. The showers turning to snow on hills.
