Saturday
A pleasant day for many places. Early morning low cloud or fog will break up and clear, resulting in good spells of sunshine developing, although still quite hazy. Local showers breaking out by afternoon across Wales, the south-west and central England, some heavy bursts very locally by evening. Chance of isolated showers Scotland and northern England, but most places staying dry. Light southerly winds. Fairly mild, highs 12 to 17C.

Saturday night
Generally dry across Britain, but fronts moving in from the Atlantic bring rain to Ireland, which also arrives in south-west England and Wales through the night, turning persistent before dawn. Chance of local showers grazing the far south-east, but these probably staying away over the Low Countries. Freshening southerly winds, strongest near western coasts. Variable cloud. Lows 5 to 8C, perhaps 3C or lower Highland glens.

Sunday
A front advances slowly north-eastwards, bringing outbreaks of rain, most persistent toward the west & south-west, becoming more extensive across Britain through the day. Rainfall amounts fairly small, least in the east & north-east. Northern Scotland probably dry all day. Brisk southerly winds, especially around western coasts. Sunshine in eastern areas in the morning but clouding over. Highs 12 to 15C north & west. South-eastern areas up to 17C.

Monday
Fairly cloudy skies for west and northern areas, with localised showers, mainly western Scotland. Otherwise a bright day across the Midlands and south, with sunny spells. Brisk southerly winds for Ireland and western Britain, light winds toward the east. Atlantic fronts bring rain to western Ireland, turning heavy. Very mild, or warm in the sunshine in the south-east, reaching 15 to 19C.
