Monday
A cold day to come across Britain but we lose the brisk north west winds as the switch to the south west and become strong across northern parts of Britain. A cold start to the day with a frost across northern and western parts of Britain. It becomes cloudy through the morning across Northern Ireland, Scotland and northwest England with rain into western Scotland. In the afternoon the rain affects Northern Ireland and Scotland. The best of the afternoon sunshine will be across the South Midlands and southern England. Expect maximum temperatures of 5 to 8 Celsius.


Monday Night
It stays windy through the evening and the night across northern parts of Britain. Evening rain across Scotland, Northern Ireland, north west England and Wales lingers into the night but clears northern parts of Scotland. The rest of Britain should be essentially dry but overcast. A milder night to come underneath all the cloud with minimum temperatures of 4 to 8 Celsius.


Tuesday
Breezy and mostly cloudy across Britain. Many areas will escape with a dry day but there will be sporadic bits of rain to come, this most likely in the west. Best of any sunshine may be across the north east of Scotland. Little overall change is expected through the evening and the night with most places cloudy with some patchy bits of rain and drizzle. Temperatures are expected to be above normal by day with highs of 8 to 13 Celsius north to south.


Wednesday
For England and Wales it's another mild day to come. Temperatures across Scotland will be cooler but near normal. Lots of cloud persists across much of Britain today which will again produce some patchy, light rain and isolated showers. Again many areas may stay dry. It becomes windier into the evening and night with more persistent rain into Northern Ireland, Scotland and northern England. Expect highs of 7 to 13 Celsius.
