Friday
Into Friday and it is high pressure that will dominate bringing another fine and settled day with bright or sunny spells, but these prolonged across England and Wales in particular. Cloudier, at times across W Scotland and N Ireland with perhaps some showery conditions here. A little cooler than previous days, but still warm across England and Wales especially. Highs 17C to 23C, but around 14C to 19C across Scotland and Ireland


Friday Night
A few showers are possible on Friday evening across W Scotland but otherwise many areas will become dry on Friday night with prolonged clear spells and perhaps with some local mist and fog patches in places. A cooler night than previous nights, especially in the countryside with lows around 3C to 8C in the north, milder in the south 8C to 12C.
 


Saturday
The fine weather will continue into Saturday with many areas having yet another dry day with some prolonged spells of sunshine, especially across England and Wales and up into S Scotland. It will be warm or very warm in further light winds through the afternoon. During the evening and there could be some local thundery downpours developing across some western areas of England and Wales and if these develop they may move northwards into parts of Scotland. Highs 16C to 22C.


Sunday
One final warm or very warm and humid day is forecast across much of England and Wales through the day but with an increased risk of some heavy and thundery downpours developing as the day progresses and these moving eastwards through the day. Turning cooler and fresher than previous days across much of Scotland and Ireland where showery weather is predicted and then turning cooler across N England by the end of the day. Highs 18C to 23C in the south and east, around 13C to 18C across Scotland and Ireland.
