UK Forecast - April 08, 2018
Increasingly Unsettled
Mild For Most

Monday
Into Monday and it will be a mainly dry start to the day with some bright or sunny spells too. Many central and northern areas of the British Isles will maintain dry conditions throughout much of the day and feeling pleasant here in further sunny spells. More central and southern areas of England and Wales, along with Ireland will, however, become increasingly unsettled by the end of the afternoon and into the evening with wet and windy weather developing here. Highs 8C to 14C.

Monday Night
Into Monday night and wet and windy weather will prevail across much of England, Wales and Ireland with outbreaks of rain and showers and a developing fresh or strong S or SE'ly breeze. It is, however, likely to remain mainly dry across most of Scotland albeit becoming increasingly cloudy and windy here too. A mild night, lows 5C to 9C.

Tuesday
Low pressure is still set to be the dominant feature moving across England and Wales, at the moment, through the day and this will maintain a risk of rain or showers quite widely and perhaps with some locally heavy precipitation possible across England and Wales, at least for a time, during the day. Scotland may well see the driest weather with sunny spells. Potentially remaining rather windy as low pressure continues to dominate, windiest weather across southern areas. Temperatures near to average, highs 8C to 14C, but cooler along eastern coastal areas given a developing E'ly breeze, temperatures around 6C to 9C here.

Wednesday
Low pressure situated over parts of France will continue to influnece the weather across more central and southern areas of England and perhaps Wales, maintaining a risk of some showery weather here. High pressure is forecast to build to the north or north-east of the British Isles and this could well mean more northern areas experience a drier day with some sunny spells. Winds moderate or fresh E'ly, so perhaps markedly cooler for those regions near to the N Sea, mildest in the west. Highs 8C to 13C, but perhaps just 5C to 8C for eastern counties of England and Scotland.
