Tuesday
A breezy morning for many northern and western areas of the country. A front is moving in from the west, weakening as it does so, but bringing rain into Scotland, northwest England, Wales and the southwest. The rain turning increasingly showery as it passes east and probably into the Midlands, Wales and southwest England this evening. Drier weather follows to the north and west although showers affecting western Scotland and Ireland. Staying mostly dry in more central and eastern areas of England with good spells of sunshine in East Anglia and southeast England. Highs near 18 or 19C, 13 to 15C in western parts of the UK and Ireland.

Tuesday Night
Cloud with bits of drizzle and patchy rain affecting western parts of Wales and western coasts of England overnight. A further area of more persistent rain may slip north into southern and central Ireland later. Remaining breezy in the west. Elsewhere it is likely to be a dry and milder night with variable cloud. Lows around 8 to 12C.
 

Wednesday
A warmer, southerly flow affecting all parts of the UK and Ireland through Wednesday with low pressure to the west and higher pressure to the east. Good spells of sunshine for much of the UK, the best of the sun in much of England and Wales. Always more cloud in Ireland where there will be some drizzle and rain, most to the south and and west. Further outbreaks of rain in western Scotland too. Breezy in Ireland. Temperatures reaching 24C in southeast England, widely 21 to 24C but 17C in Ireland and 15C in western Scotland.

Thursday
A weak front affecting western parts of the UK and Ireland on Thursday. Some spots of rain in western Scotland and Ireland on Thursday morning, although most of these fading into the afternoon. Other areas will be brighter and dry with good spells of sunshine and feeling warm again too. Some low cloud may drift onto western coasts of Wales, southwest England and southern Ireland. Highs at 27C in southeast England, 17C on western coasts.
