Sunday
It becomes very windy across much of Britain today. A fine, sunny morning to come across East Anglia and the south east. Cloudy across the rest of Brain this morning with outbreaks of rain across Northern Ireland, Scotland, north west England, Wales and Cornwall. This will be heaviest across Scotland but very light in the south. In the afternoon that rain is expected to spill in across the rest of Britain and turns heavy from Scotland down into northern England. Expect maximum temperatures of 12 to 15 Celsius across Scotland, Wales, and northern England, 16 to 18 Celsius across the south.


Sunday Night
It remains very windy into the evening and night with gales around the coast of Wales. In the evening the area of rain will push off into the North Sea. Lots of showers replace the rain, these merge into longer spells of rain across Northern Ireland, western Scotland and the north west England in the evening and this spreads into southern Scotland, northern England, Wales, south west England and the Midlands through the night. Expect minimum temperatures of 9 to 11 Celsius.


Monday
Another windy day and feeling chillier as the winds come around to the west north west. A very unsettled day in store for Britain with frequent, blustery showers. These will be locally heavy with a risk of thunder. Heavier, persistent rain is expected across northern Scotland. In the evening the showers become confined to the coasts of western Britain and here they will persist overnight. Expect highs of 14 to 18 Celsius.


Tuesday
A breezy day but strong winds come into the south west late in the day. A fair, dry morning to come across eastern parts of England and Scotland with showers across the west, some heavy. In the afternoon Showers spread to many areas while more persistent and heavy rain spreads into Wales and south west England. Heavy rain sweeps across much of Britain in the evening. Strong wind to affect the south of England with gales along the channel coast. Overnight the last of the heavy rain clears eastern England as heavy blustery showers move in from the west. Expect highs of 14 to 18 Celsius.
