Thursday
Hot and humid over much of England and Wales on Thursday. There will be some thundery rain in the southeast through the morning, this fading. But at the same time thundery showers will be developing in England, especially in central nd eastern areas where these could be torrential in places in the afternoon. Cloudy in Scotland and much of Ireland through the morning with some drizzle in places at first. Staying damp in western Scotland and western Scotland with more rain to come here. Many western areas of the UK and eastern Ireland tending to be drier with sunny spells.. Highs at 30C in southeast England, 23C in eastern Ireland, 17C in northern Scotland.


Thursday Night
Thundery showers affecting eastern coasts of England early in the night. These clear into the North Sea with most parts of England and Wales then being dry with clearer skies developing. Some drizzle may affect parts of Cumbria. Cloud and patchy rain in western Sotland and Northern Ireland, this slipping southeast as the night progresses with most of Scotland being dry. Lows near a muggy 17C in southeast England, a fresher 10 to 14C elsewhere.


Friday
A weak front passes south through Ireland and northern England on Friday. This brings cloud here and a few spots of patchy rain. An area of more persistent rain then edges north through Ireland during this afternoon, some becoming heavy in the far west. Brighter for England and Wales with good spells of warm sunshine to come here. Scotland wil have broken cloud and some sunny spells with showers around northern and eastern coasts. Highs at 29C in southeast England, 15C in northern Scotland.


Saturday
Weak fronts spreads south through Ireland, northern England and Wales on Saturday. There will be cloud and outbreaks of rain affecting Ireland, Wales and northern England, this slipping south into te Midlands and parts of East Anglia dring the day. Dry in the far south with sunny spells and very warm here. Drier in Scotland and northern parts of Ireland, this drier weather edging into northern England. Highs at 28C in southeast England, 16C in northern Scotland.
