Saturday
Into Saturday and it will be a dry start across many areas with sunny spells. Most of Saturday will then be dry with further bright or sunny spells, these prolonged at times despite variable amounts of cloud. Through the mid-to-late afternoon and into the evening and cloud may well develop across SW England, Wales, Midlands and across NW England and it is across these areas that some heavy and thundery downpours may develop. Highs 15C to 23C.

Saturday Night
Thundery showers through some central areas of England and Wales may continue to develop and move eastwards overnight bringing some localised severe weather. Otherwise it will become cooler and more unsettled from the west with rain or showers developing across Scotland and Ireland, while the rest of England and Wales, away from the thundery showers, remain rather humid and mainly dry. Lows 10C to 14C across England and Wales, around 6C to 9C across Scotland and Ireland.

Sunday
One final warm or very warm and humid day is forecast across E England through the day but with an increased risk of some heavy and thundery downpours developing as the day progresses. Turning cooler and fresher than previous days across much of Scotland and Ireland where showery weather is predicted and then turning cooler across N England and Wales through the afternoon as well and then the rest of England by the end of the day. Highs 16C to 21C in the south and east, around 10C to 15C elsewhere.

Monday
A far cooler and more unsettled day than compared with previous days across all areas of the British Isles as low pressure moves in from the west. This means a risk of rain or showers, at times, across many areas but with perhaps more northern and western areas experiencing the heaviest precipitation through the day, while more southern and eastern areas of England may well still be drier and brighter at times. Highs just 9C to 14C which is near average, but clearer markedly cooler than previous days.
