Warmer and drier although some early western rain and drizzle
A change in the weather is underway as higher pressure builds and warmer weather arrives in the UK and Ireland. Temperatures will be rising quickly this week with the warmest of these in central and eastern areas. There will be some early patchy rain in the west but this fades and then many areas become dry. Indications are that the dry and warm weather remains into the weekend although there are likely to be more areas of cloud developing.
