Wednesday 12/07/17
A ridge of high pressure builds across the country, bringing a fair day to many places. Good spells of sunshine. Early cloud and patchy rain in the south-east should soon clear. Chance of an isolated shower by afternoon. Winds generally light. Breezy around some coasts, particularly in the south. Feeling fresh, highs 16 to 22C.

Thursday 13/07/17
Low pressure to the north of Scotland pushes fronts across northern Britain. Fairly cloudy, with outbreaks of rain for the north & west, and a few showers possible elsewhere, although the south & south-east will stay frequently dry. A fresh westerly breeze, strongest in the north-west. Highs 15 to 20C, locally up to 23C in the south-east.

Friday 14/07/17
Another ridge of high pressure builds from the west. A few showers possible, but many places will be dry with sunny spells. Fronts may return from the Atlantic, bringing rain to western Scotland by the end of the day. A fresh feel with a west to north-westerly breeze. Highs 15 to 22C, warmest south-east.

Saturday 15/07/17
High pressure to the south, and a general westerly pattern is expected across the British Isles. A front brings a risk of rain to Scotland & Northern Ireland, but England & Wales should stay dry. Quite breezy, best sunshine in east. Highs 15 to 19C north & west, 21 to 25C south & east.

Sunday 16/07/17
A front is likely to slip slowly southwards, introducing rain to Wales & northern England, but may fade as it advances south. The south & south-east should stay dry and warm, 22 to 24C. Cooler with showers for Scotland & N.Ireland, 15 to 18C.

Monday 17/07/17
Patchy rain may affect the south as a weakening front clears. Dry for many with sunny spells. Showery for north-west Scotland. Highs 16 to 23C.
