Thursday 13/07/17
Low pressure to the north of Scotland pushes fronts across northern Britain. Fairly cloudy, with outbreaks of rain for the north & west, locally persistent over the hills. A few showers possible elsewhere, although the south & south-east will stay frequently dry. A fresh westerly breeze, strongest in the north-west. Highs 15 to 20C, locally up to 23C in the south-east.

Friday 14/07/17
A ridge of high pressure rebuilds from the west. Many places will be dry with sunny spells, best toward the south-west. A few showers possible, mainly northern and then eastern areas by afternoon. Fronts likely to return from the Atlantic, bringing rain to western Scotland by the end of the day. A fresh feel with a west to north-westerly breeze. Highs 15 to 22C, warmest south.

Saturday 15/07/17
High pressure to the south, and a general westerly pattern is expected across the British Isles. A front brings a risk of rain to Scotland & Northern Ireland, perhaps sinking south to affect western areas elsewhere, but much of England & Wales may escape dry. Quite breezy, best sunshine in east. Highs 15 to 18C north & west, 21 to 25C south & east.

Sunday 16/07/17
A front is likely to slip slowly southwards, bringing patchy rain to central areas, but may fade as it advances south. The south & south-east should stay dry and warm at 22 to 24C. Cooler with showers for Scotland & N.Ireland, 15 to 18C. Breezy for all.

Monday 17/07/17
Patchy rain may affect the south as a weakening front clears. A dry day for many with sunny spells. Showery for north-west Scotland. A westerly breeze, feeling fresh. Highs 16 to 23C.

Tuesday 18/07/17
Pressure is likely to be high toward the south-west. Many places dry, but a few showers possible in the north. Temperatures 17 to 22C.
