Low pressure is still set to be the dominant feature moving across England and Wales, at the moment, through the day and this will maintain a risk of rain or showers quite widely and perhaps with some locally heavy precipitation possible across England and Wales, at least for a time, during the day. Scotland may well see the driest weather with sunny spells. Potentially remaining rather windy as low pressure continues to dominate, windiest weather across southern areas. Temperatures near to average, highs 8C to 14C, but cooler along eastern coastal areas given a developing E'ly breeze, temperatures around 6C to 9C here.

Wednesday 11/4/18
Low pressure is predicted to decline down into France but this does mean it may well remain influential across more central, southern and eastern areas of England maintaining a risk of some showery weather here. High pressure is forecast to build to the north or north-east of the British Isles and this could well mean more northern areas experience a drier day with some sunny spells. Winds potentially becoming moderate or fresh E'ly, so perhaps cooler and especially so for those regions near to the N Sea, mildest in the west. Highs 8C to 14C, but perhaps just 5C to 8C for eastern counties of England and Scotland.

Thursday 12/04/18
High pressure is set to dominate to the north or north-east of the British Isles as low pressure persists just to the south so something of a north and south split in the weather is still expected later next week with more northern areas generally drier and brighter, but with England and Wales still maintaining a risk of some rain or showers, especially across more southern areas. Moderate or perhaps fresh E or NE'ly winds are likely to continue so temperatures average at best and always cooler near to the N Sea. Highs 7C to 12C, just 4C to 6C in eastern areas.

Friday 13/04/18
At the moment next Friday may well maintain a risk of showery conditions across central and southern areas of England and Wales, but with many other areas becoming predominantly dry with some bright or sunny spells, especially across Scotland and Ireland, perhaps N England too. Winds still look set to be E or NE'ly, especially across England and Wales with perhaps some marked regional variation in temperatures, mildest across western areas, still rather cool or chilly near to the east coast. Highs 7C to 12C, but nearer 4C to 6C in eastern areas.

Saturday 14/04/18
Next Saturday is still set to see low pressure close-by to more southern and south-western areas of England, so still a risk of some showers here, despite some drier intervals. With high pressure still expected to be dominant to the north or north-east then more northern areas are still expected to be drier and more settled with some bright or sunny spells. A marked and regional temperature variation is still forecast to continue, always mildest in sheltered western areas, much cooler, if not rather cold near to the North Sea. Highs 6C to 11C.

Sunday 15/04/18
Uncertainties for next Sunday at the moment but the overal evolution is still for more unsettled weather with rain or showers at times to be in evidence across more southern and western areas of the British Isles, while some northern areas maintain drier and brighter conditions. Winds still E or SE'ly moderate perhaps fresh. Highs 8C to 13C in the south and west, just 4C to 8C still near the North Sea.
