Risk of fog, frost at first

Overall much of the upcoming week will be rather unsettled with rain at times as a cell of high pressure gives way to low pressure from the west. Temperatures generally look to be above normal in the south and normal to below normal across northern parts of Britain.

Tuesday 07/11/17
Chilly today with heavy rain clearing western areas in the morning and eastern areas in the afternoon. Sunnier weather comes in from the west with coastal showers. Dry, clear, cold and frosty overnight with fog patches developing. Expect highs of 7 to 10C.

Wednesday 08/11/17
Expect rain into Northern Ireland and western Scotland in the afternoon. For England and Wales it's a dry day with sunny spells after slow clearance of morning, dense fog patches. Apart from a few showers in the west, it looks dry overnight with mist patches. Expect highs of 8 to 10C.
 

Thursday 09/11/17
The day may be milder. Patchy rain clears southern England. Fairly cloudy for most but dry. Rain is likely across Scotland and Northern Ireland overnight. Look for highs of 10 to 14C.

 
 
 

Friday 10/11/17
It continues mild with rain across Northern Ireland, northern England and Scotland. Increasingly windy. Across the south with some hazy sunshine then more cloudy. At present, rain is expected to affect England and Wales overnight as it turns colder in the north. Expect highs of 12 to 14C.
 

Saturday 11/11/17
Another mild day to come across the south. Colder in the north. Rain in the south tends to clear in the morning then fair and dry. A few showers to affect western areas. Expect highs of 7 to 12C.

Sunday 12/11/17
Rather a misty and murky day with drizzly rain possible across western parts of Britain. Central and eastern areas will be dry in the main. Look for highs of 9 to 12C.
