Becoming cooler

The weather for the first part of the upcoming week is looking quite summery with a good deal of dry weather and temperatures well above normal Details from Wednesday becomes lower but a gradual trend to more mixed weather is indicated. Temperatures then drop closer to normal levels.

Rain clears Britain in the morning leaving a showery afternoon on Tuesday. A bit cooler in the north but temperatures will be a bit above normal in the south of England. Windy across England and Wales. Dry by night with clear spells. Expect highs of 15 to 22C.

Wednesday 06/09/17
Lots of dry weather is expected across Britain but cooler and breezy. After a sunny start, it turns cloudier in many areas. A few showers to affect the north. A dry night except for a few showers in the west. Expect highs of 15 to 18C.

Outbreaks of rain may spill in across the northern half of Britain through the day with showers for Wales and south west England. Very windy in the north. The rain affects central Britain in the night. Look for highs of 15 to 20C.

Unsettled and windy with a wet morning for many. The rain clears to afternoon showers in the north and the west. Feeling cool. Temperatures a bit below normal. Expect highs of 15 to 19C.

At this point it may be a wet day with spells of moderate to heavy rain that clear by evening. Very windy with a risk of gales across England and Wales. Staying cool for most. Expect highs of 14 to 18C.

A cool and breezy day likely. Occasional showers to affect western parts of Britain and North Sea coasts. Mainly inland with sunnier spells and variable cloud. Look for highs of 13 to 17C.
