Very warm for some this week but then cooler and showery

Temperatures rising in the coming days as high pressure becomes established. There will be plenty of sunshine for many, although some low cloud, mist and fog patches are likely to be affecting coastal hills. A tendency towards showers and some rain into next week, mostly in Scotland and Northern Ireland and it will become cooler for all.
