Improving across most of the Mediterranean. Mostly cloudy on the continent as several fronts bring periods of rain to many central and western areas. Becoming quite unsettled in the north.

Wednesday
Heavy, thundery showers and high winds in Portugal and west Spain, more scattered though still wet in east Spain. Rain will be quite persistent and at times heavy in Corsica and northward along the south France and northwest Italian coasts. Drier to the south in Sardinia and southern Italy with clouds and sun. A few isolated showers and intermittent sun along the Balkan coast and often sunny spells inland. Sunny in Greece as well. Frequent showers in western Türkiye, some heavy along the south coast and Cyprus.
Showers across France, persistent and at times heavy rain in north France and south England. A few rainy patches reach the Low Countries and west Germany as well, with some of the broader spells of rain reaching Belgium later. Mostly dry and cloudy east of here with some sun spells. Romania, Ukraine, and Belarus mostly cloudy with isolated rain/sleet spells.
Abundantly cloudy in Scandinavia and northeast Europe. Several bands of rain slip northeastward through Denmark into southern Norway and Sweden. Some snow further north of here though mostly dry in the far north. Snow quite widespread in Finland, driest in the south. Cloudy and mostly dry in the Baltics, perhaps a lucky sun spell in Lithuania.

Thursday
Showers fade in Iberia leaving only isolated showers through the day and often sunny. Sun spreads eastward into the Mediterranean giving a fine day for the islands. Often cloudy in Italy, rain north. Rain stretching into Croatia, Hungary, and Albania as well as clouds push into southwest Europe. A fine mostly sunny day for Greece and west Türkiye.
A band of moderate-to-heavy rain pushes east out of France into Germany, Switzerland (often as snow here), and west Czechia. Some rain into west Poland as well, becoming more spotty as it moves east. Only spotty rain into Hungary and Romania, mostly dry further east. Best chances of sun near the Black Sea.
A band of moderate or heavy rain pushes across the British Isles and will reach into norh France and the Low Countries later. Widespread snow in Denmark, soon moving north into Sweden and east Norway. Some spots of rain and snow will reach southern Finland, though amounting to little. Dry in the Baltics.
