Wet and windy northern Norway
High pressure influences western Europe. Lots of warm sunshine for Spain and Portugal, topping 40C again in south-western Iberia. Nearer 25C for the Biscay coast. Into the low 30s for south & south-west France and staying dry overall.
Feeling humid for central-northern Europe. Breezy around the English Channel and the Low Countries. A fair day with variable cloud for Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany 25 to 29C, warmest in central Germany. Scattered thunderstorms for Alpine areas and a few showers too for southern Italy plus Corsica and Sardinia. Local storms for the Balkan mountains, also Romania. A zone of showery rain affects western Ukraine and Belarus. Topping 30C for Hungary with plenty of sun. Sunny too for Greece, with a fresh breeze for the Greek islands.
Cloudy with some rain for Denmark and southern Sweden. Eastern Sweden should see a dry, bright day, 22C. Rain clears across Finland in the early hours. Low pressure to the north brings wet, windy and cool conditions to northern Norway, just 11 to 14C.
Little change for western Europe, as high pressure continues to influence the area, extending in from the Azores. Dry with lots of sunshine for France, Spain and Portugal, reaching 40C again in south-western Iberia. Clusters of thunderstorms breaking out again for the Alps, also into the Czech Republic, Slovakia and into the mountains of Romania. Local thunderstorms for the spine of Italy, also Sardinia and Sicily. Hot and sunny again for Hungary , Greece and much of the Balkan region, highs 30 to 34C. Dry and sunny around the Black Sea coasts.
Breezy for the Low Counties, Denmark and Germany, but staying dry with some sun, highs 22 to 25C. Humid with cloudy for Poland, but mainly dry, 27 to 30C. Rain moves across southern Sweden, then the southern Baltic through the day. Dry and bright for southern Norway, locally up to 21C. Cool and showery for northern Scandinavia, barely 10C in the Arctic circle.
